Up through the woods canopy today. I would never have spotted her until she cried out. My favourite animal and my ears went in to auto pilot. They do have a very distinctive call.

I reckon that's a thrush, not a kestrel

Had a lot of rain up here recently so no doubt making the most of the worms.

A very misty weekend in my local valley. Still, had a nice moment with a fox and watched this male kestrel hunting, back up on the wires. Usually he flies off when I get close but decided to stay yesterday. Not the sharpest which I put down to me as much as the weather.
