The food was still in the dome feeder this morning. But the food has gone from door feeder. Never put a camera on that one. Drat, will put out two cameras tonight.

After all this edge of the seat stuff it had better be a Hog and not that blinking cat again. :)

Have two cameras out tonight. More than likely the food will be gone and nothing on the video.

Would you adam an eve it. Put out the two cameras last night and thick fog descended during the night. Both cameras picked up a hedgehog, playing back the video, but the quality was rubbish, just about make out the hedgies in the fog and misted up lense.
But can confirm that my season has started.

On getting home, I went out to put some seeds in the feeding station only to be surprised by a hog in there, giving me the evil eye. Since it was only half past four and he hadn't seemed to have eaten the mixed seeds in there, I rushed to get a box and gloves. I picked him up and put him the box. He seemed a good weight and on weighing, he was 600g. He had a bit of twine attached to him so I was a little concerned.
I took him to my hedgehog lady and she said he was a bit nasty smelly. Even though he was curled up extremely tightly, we could see his foot was a bit swollen, stopping him from fully tucking his nose in.
She phoned her expert and he said he'll take it as soon as he's home.

We were wondering whether the hog knew he was in trouble and therefore came to where the food was in the case of someone helping him. I'm not sure how long he'd been there as I didn't put food in the feeder last night, I put it on a tray.

Fingers crossed he'll recover and I'll get him back home.
