The Goldcrest turned up today. We usually see it when we have a cold snap so it was a bit of a surprise. It always appears in the silver/blue conifer by the kitchen. I think it hunts for spiders and their eggs.

I've had a Goldcrest visiting the pond in the hot weather. It's a lovely little bird.

It's interesting how its crest appears orange in some lights/angles and yellow in others.
