For the past couple of years I've tried to photograph the young birds brought to our feeders. This year we headed down to S. Wales on a road trip early in May so I've been panicking in case I missed them!!!!
We got back on Saturday and this popped in.

I've since counted three! Preparing for the plague of Starlings now!

Very nice scozmos, we don't see many now. We managed to miss our blue tits fledging

It is now 08:24, I'm sitting at the Mac by my window out onto the garden and feeder area, camera set up and ready. The screeching got louder so I stood up and six, yes six young Starlings were squabbling over the same piece of branch outside and one scrabbling to perch on the window itself!.
Our Starling flock has possibly numbered up to fifty so far, It's going to be interesting to see how many young we end up with and the flock size later in the year!

Any young Magpies? We're lucky, we don't get them at all (very often)
