FLEDGLINGS 2014

The arrival of fledglings in my garden appears to have slowed for the time being. I think the sparrows are on their second brood and the Blackbirds seem to have given their last brood the slip.

Same here. Apart from 2 magpies, I've not seen any young 'uns this week.

I had a quick peek of a baby blue tit at my feeder. It wasn't half making a noise, that's how I spotted it.

First House Sparrow chicks about 3-4 week ago followed by the Starling chicks two weeks later. This last week have had Blue Tit and Great Tit chicks.

I spotted a Dunnock fledgling today plus what I am almost certain was a Great Tit juvenile.

I have young great tits now too, with m & d in close attendance.

Looks wet at Loch Garten. EJ trying to protect her chicks from the weather.
Lady and Young Pretender still incubating at Loch of the Lowes. I wonder how long they will continue.

I have Goldfinch and Greenfinch fledglings coming to the hearts feeder now.

I have a baby wood pigeon wandering around the lawn. The word that comes to mind that best describes his look is "flummoxed"
