The Blackbirds are returning to the feeders in large numbers, - always a sign of harsher weather to come!

My lot have almost stripped the rowan and only one of the 3 pyrawotsits still has berries. If it is a harsh winter they will be a little bit needy

Breakfast time was very busy,my usual sparrows,Sturks,Grt and Blue Tits,4 very healthy Greenfinch thats a first for a long time ,I thought I had a brambling but it was a male Chaffie I think that tells me snow is on its way.Blackbirds all back on the dyke .

Also a song thrush in the rowan, clearing up the remaining few berries. Again, not a common visitor.
