Juvenile Blackbirds are so much prettier than the adults!

I have yet to see a young blackbird this year, so lovely to see yours Nick, not sure if your aware of the blackbird virus

I think we've been really lucky this year and had two broods, or two pairs with different age youngsters... 2 new (still at the fluffy stage) the last couple of days, and one that looks like adult female, but being fed occasionally still. They're very fond of grapes and sultanas!

That's great news PB, I think my female is on nest for 2nd time but the maggies are terrorising the place again ...so much so I have put the feeders away!!
