ROBINS
Re: ROBINS
I always have one or two Robins visiting my small back garden I do love these birds. They always bring a smile to my face always nice to see that bright colour.

Re: ROBINS
Now and again I read news feeds on my phone and its interesting they saying of you soak a handful full of raisins in warm water for 20 to 30 minutes they go plump and its ideal fuel food for Robins. Put them on a small saucer ot plate next to a shrub so they can dart for cover.

Re: ROBINS
It would be nice to think only Robins would take advantage of the offering but I can think of others that would be just as grateful and have larger appetites.Wren wrote: ↑Sat Nov 01, 2025 5:16 pmNow and again I read news feeds on my phone and its interesting they saying of you soak a handful full of raisins in warm water for 20 to 30 minutes they go plump and its ideal fuel food for Robins. I agree Robins are probably my favourite garden bird but the fruit is there for any birds or wildlife that comes across it.Jacksparrow wrote: ↑Sat Nov 01, 2025 7:16 pmIt would be nice to think only Robins would take advantage of the offering but I can think of others that would be just as grateful and have larger appetites.Wren wrote: ↑Sat Nov 01, 2025 5:16 pmNow and again I read news feeds on my phone and its interesting they saying of you soak a handful full of raisins in warm water for 20 to 30 minutes they go plump and its ideal fuel food for Robins.
