Just came to bed and saw this guy on the ceiling...had to go get the ladders for closer look....it can stay the night rent free but getting evicted in morning 😂

Common Marbled Carpet Moth according to that search engine so will take that with pinch of salt! And Wait for our expert :shrug:

Ruby Tiger Moth caterpillar

Found this little fella running(!) along my path last night, bug app says it is will become a Ruby Tiger Moth, not that I have ever seen one.

Hopefully we get to see it once it transforms into a moth.

BTW Snappy, like your avatar, it reminds me of a robin we fed some years ago, tame little thing, we aptly named it scruffy.

Yes it is (for once the search engine was right!)- its a really variable moth just to cause confusion
