Plant ID
Re: Plant ID
If Triffy is growing an inch every 3 and a half days I think we have more to worry about than Covid-19

Re: Plant ID
If willpar's reports dry up in a little while I think we know what will have happened and it isn't Covid-19.
Re: Plant ID
Plant is now 5ft 2ins tall. The buds are showing signs of colour. Forecast for rain tonight here, so could grow a wee bit faster. The ground has dried up quite a bit. Just been out and loosened the soil around the plants, so if it does rain will penetrate the soil better.
Re: Plant ID
Blimey, it's taller than I am !!!
"... loosen the soil around the plants" ?!?!?!?! Careful, Willpar, they'll walk, they'll walk

Just been out and measured the Echium. Is now 6ft 2ins tall. Bud stalks are getting longer and bigger.
Re: Plant ID
The growth is accelarating !! Best put a beacon on the top to warn low-flying aircraft, Willpar.
Re: Plant ID
Went past the ladies house yesterday that gave me the plant. Boy, she has loads of them and they are getting real tall. One looks to be 8ft or more. Will take a video when I go by next time.
