Now and again I read news feeds on my phone and its interesting they saying of you soak a handful full of raisins in warm water for 20 to 30 minutes they go plump and its ideal fuel food for Robins. Before settling on any particular feed I think it is worth experimenting for a little while to see what your local birds prefer. Cheaper foods are bulked out with cereal grain such as corn so unless you have plenty of pigeons much of it will be discarded while the birds look for something they like...

Charles thank you for the information. I will price some feed stores around the area where I live. I know ebay have some descent suppliers.

Cut both my front and back lawns yesterday. Very wet but hopefully their last cut for the year. Next strip and clean the lawn mower and sharpen the blade.π Hi Wren! Incase you remove the blade from the shaft for sharpening please don't forget to remove the spark plug so she doesn't fire by accident...

Hi can I ask what types of food are you topping your bird feeders up with as I find the cheap stuff you purchase in the shops dont look upto scratch. Any advice will be welcomed.
