Before settling on any particular feed I think it is worth experimenting for a little while to see what your local birds prefer. Cheaper foods are bulked out with cereal grain such as corn so unless you have plenty of pigeons much of it will be discarded while the birds look for something they like...

Cut both my front and back lawns yesterday. Very wet but hopefully their last cut for the year. Next strip and clean the lawn mower and sharpen the blade.😊 Hi Wren! Hi can I ask what types of food are you topping your bird feeders up with as I find the cheap stuff you purchase in the shops dont look upto scratch. Any advice will be welcomed.
