Nice to have and good plant trimmers.

I am beginning to suspect that it was a deer that ate all the leaves on my Curry plant.

I found some Roe Deer droppings in the front garden today. I must have visited overnight as there weren't any when I mowed the lawn yesterday.

Walking the lanes this morning, seen two red legged partridges running along in a farmers field. That is very strange because they are a shy bird which are rarely seen. Seen several white butterflies this morning, did make out that one was a small white. Also a speckled wood, a red admiral and a peacock. Was nice and sunny.

Small White sightings at this time of year might actually be female Orange Tips who look very similar.

Seen my first swallow this morning. Just the one though.

Just about on time. Despite the cooler weather I have plenty of insects in the garden so finding food will be no problem.
Summer doesn't really start for me until the Swifts arrive. A few more weeks yet I think.
